Hey Kids!! You like Spider-Man??? You better!! Why? Because USA Today is telling us that the Charity Loving, Third-World advocates over at Sony Corporation just very well may bring you SIX Spider-Man films. That’s a lot.
Granted, it’s obviously way too early to assume that they will be good or bad, but 6? Jeepers. the Article is Here, but you may have to go to USA Today’s “Life Page” First, and click on the article from there, because USA Today asks you how old you are before you can read it. Why? I dunno. It’s not my stupid page.
And of course, there’s a truck load of stuff about the movie coming out in the article as well… Badder Bad Guys, More New York stuff.. — the only thing I find “interesting” is the whole “we’re gonna get deeper into the characters” stuff. Don’t get too deep there Sammy, as long as you leave room for some punching – and Bruce Campbell – I could care less either way.

Seriously, I would like to see Mysterio and perhaps the Lizard. Venom leaves me cold. (Though the original Alien Costume was really creepy and much more interesting.)
Well it looks like venom and sandman will be the villians because thats what kirstin dunst said in a recent interview so ide like to see how this plays out and if so that leaves 3 other movies to explain the whole carnage symbiote story

Err … doing the actual origin of Venom would involve having the Beyonder take every major villain and hero from the Marvel universe at the time (early 80’s, wasn’t it? I used to have this miniseries) up into a giant spaceship to duke it out to the death so he could learn about the nature of good and evil. That’s where Parker first got the symbiote … he stuck his hand into some sort of dispensing machine and it dropped into his palm as a little black glob … I don’t know if they maybe modified the story later on for simplicity, but this is how it originally went down, and that just aint gonna happen on film …
TAKE THE ORIGIN FROM THE SPIDERMAN SERIES FOR VENOM AND CARNAGE. THAT WORKED FINE. OF COURSE SPICE IT UP. AND AFTER MARVEL MAKES ALL ITS MOVIES AND ALL THE HEROES AND VILLAINS ARE INTRODUCED, MAKE ONE BIG SECRET WAR MOVIE. OF COURSE IT WOULD BE POST VENOM AKA THE GREATEST MARVEL CHARACTER EVER, NEXT TO THE HULK.
P.S. SPIDERMAN MUST WEAR THE SYMBIOTE FIRST, AND IT HAS TO BE ALIEN.

Well you are a little wrong case carnage is legend and if carnage and venom team up I think that you will make more money and get more fans than any movie inthe world. Be sure to show carnage and venom most of the movie and make the symbiotes look real, use computer graffics if you have to, Trust me, there is nothing more that people are looking forward to than the two of their favourite charecters unite to kill spider-man. im actually looking forward to this next one… I hope they keep the Wachowski Brothers away from the set. We wouldn’t want another matrix fiasco again.

6 films. Maybe it will take that long to get it right. That first film was a real stinker. Must admit though, the trailer for 2 makes it look interesting.
I saw a show clip off superherohype.com and Kirstin said MJ gets married in SM2. Hmm.
Sweet! I hadn’t heard this, but it’s a pretty simple and clean way to introduce the black suit … the original storyline in the comics was meeeeeeeessy …
OK, in case you were not already aware of it. They are already plugging the ground work for Venom.
There was a teaser shot showing MaryJane’s new beau, and he is the astronaught who visits space and brings back the symbiot. Forgive me if I cannot remember his name.
Space Pilot meets Symbiot, Space Pilot is dating MJ, Peter is still pining for MJ and is still friends, Symbiot meets Peter.
I bet it all happens before the end of this movie. One of those final moments that tease you for Spidey3. Oozing black thingy looking lustfully at Parker.
It needent take 6 films to get to Venom, but Venom + Carnage might take that long. And hopefully by then they’ll have the CG to do those two right.
Can anybody say Venom? It’s oure speculation on my part, but the only way a studio plans that far ahead is if they’ve got a particular destination in mind and it’s gonna take them a while to get there … in the Spiderman universe that means Venom. Even allowing for a major re-write on the origin of the black suit / symbiont (cause there’s just no way the the original Beyonder storyline is ever going to be included … too unweildy, too many characters with rights owned elsewhere, etc) I figure it takes at least two films to lay the basic groundwork (one for Peter to get the black suit, one for it to start over riding his personality and be discarded) before you can properly introduce Venom as a character … I really hope this is the plan ’cause he’s about the best villain ever in the Spiderman world and is just aching to be on the big screen …
Wonder who the others will be … Doc Oc is #2. They’re obviously setting up Harry to become the Hobgoblin. The guy who becomes the Lizard is going to be introduced in #2 … Sandman could be cool. Who’s the electric shock guy? That could work …
